The Russian Orthodox Church sounds like a haven for pedophiles.
My personal belief is that the Russian Orthodox Church needs to be recalled to Moscow and with an intrinsic and thorough investigation of its clergy and leadership undertaken by Russian Authorities. Russia should also issue warrants for the arrest of the clergy and leadership.
It is evident that the clergy and leadership in New York are perverted, heinous and corrupt.
That is unlikely since the Moscow Patriarchate hierarchy in Russia deals with sex abuse the same way. And the priests and bishops involved are usually not Russian citizens or even born in Russia. This is an American problem.
If these individuals failed as mandatory reporters, then a legal course of action, of necessity, must be pursued. In the State of TN, child sexual abuse MUST be reported within 24-48 hours after the mandatory reporter has been made aware. Failure to report is a Class A misdemeanor for the first offense. The arrogance of these two priests is dramatic and shocking and should be made widely known. They clearly demonstrate that they have no interest in the victims of the horrendous crime, and have been sent as “henchmen” to coverup & silence this long-suffering mother whose only interest is protecting her victimized daughters. I have literally assessed hundreds of felony child sexual predators in the state prisons of the state of California, and few have directly offended me so personally as these two creeps with crosses around their necks.

The feigned helplessness is laughable. They *want* the backlash against victims to happen. After all, if people start reporting clergy and getting away with it...
Yes and what strikes me is that they fully acknowledge that there is such "backlash" and that there are people who would want to act in a harmful way towards Elizabeth and her family. My questions is then, shouldn't the Church be addressing these people as a matter of urgency? Shouldn't Mancuso & Antchoutine be telling those people to calm down and leave Elizabeth alone? Instead its all the wrong way around.
Sure and the same thing was said about Gleb Podmoshenky et al. The issue is that FR. Matthew was suspended and that the ROCOR did not state why! Nor did the church issue any statements asking others who may have been abused to come forward.
I truly want to believe that these men are acting out of total ignorance of the effects of sexual abuse, but unfortunately from my own personal experience I know it is malicious. Their whole intent with every conversation, and directive served one purpose and one purpose only, to protect their own asses from liability. Each of them including our Good and Holy Metropolitan punished the abused for speaking out. I am astounded that there is not one single cleric within ROCOR that has the intestinal fortitude to say publicly, "this is wrong" not one single Bishop will ever do that because of the obvious back lash they will receive from the Hierarchy. This smacks of a cult and those who stay silent and do not speak out against this behavior are no different than Mathew himself. Shame on each and every one of you men.
It totally comes out in this interview in the way they speak with her. There is no compassion or any attempt to be supportive. They come across as irritated to even be there. Its all this bullshit like: "We can't say. Trust us. There are reasons." Actually one of the worst things said is very early on when Mancuso says: "kind of pray kind of low profile". What in the world is that supposed to mean?!? Like what is he thinking that she plans on doing? Clipping a microphone to herself and yelling out and doing prostrations the whole of liturgy on the ambon? Seriously absurd thing to say.
Mancuso treated me the same way. Like I was being overly dramatic 🙄. Because I wanted the help he promised I would recieve, because I wanted acknowledged. He is a vile, mean spirited, sorry excuse for a Christian much less a priest. No compassion for the abused, just condescending lip service to protect the failures of the Metropolitan. Horrible men all of those involved.
This is a feature of the system, not a bug. This sort of treatment will serve as an effective preventative measure to any more reports of abuse. Problem solved!

Who would have to initiate this being done? This must be pursued, I am more than willing to be the squeaky wheel, but I will need some direction.
